Loving on the Kids in Costa Rica

*The internet is very slow here at night when I blog.  It takes anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes for 1 picture to upload!!!  So, most of my posts will probably be brief & unfortunately will not include all of the pictures I would like.  Honestly though, I am just very thankful to have internet access.

We spent all day at a government owned orphanage.  We had the opportunity to love on 60+ kids today.  Because it is a government facility, I am not allowed to post pictures of their faces - this is a safety measure the government has put in place to protect the children.

School started back yesterday so we spent some time with one group of children in the morning, and some time with a different group, for the most part, in the afternoon.

Depsite the language barrier, we were able to speak the 1st & 2nd universal languages with the kids - love being the first one & soccer futbol being the 2nd!  LOL!  Lots & lots of futbol.

We played Duck, Duck, Goose - for a long time.  We also played some other really fun games.  We laughed a lot and had fun with the kids.

We did crafts.

We loved on them.

 And they loved us back.

We shared God's Word with them.
We shared the hope of Jesus Christ with them - the hope that their souls are longing for.

Please join us in praying for these children who have been abandoned by their earthly families to be adopted into God's family - He will NEVER leave them or forsake them!

While most of us were hanging out with the kids, part of our team painted an entire cottage!!!  They did a fantastic job too!

Although, it did get messy at times!  Todd and Johnny had a couple of paint mishaps!  But in the end, it turned out just fine :)

After we left the orphanage, we stopped at a historical ruins site on our way home.
Group photo time!

CG joined a local band...

and Cody busted out some of his best dance moves!

Costa Rica will never be the same again!

Loving HIM with all my heart & soul,
Nancy
